The Visual Art Resources Hub is a multifaceted long-term program that seeks to provide and facilitate knowledge and resources on Palestinian art to a range of audiences, including artists, curators, researchers and others. Its main component is “YURA”, a digital platform that offers an archive on Palestinian art and its social history, and facilitates the research and production of new knowledge on visual arts. The program was developed in 2020 and came as a culmination of 15 years of dedicated work at Al Hoash and a persisting interest in documenting and preserving visual art history, as well as fostering visual art research and knowledge production.
